Requirements

This tool relies on .NET and PowerShell.

Make sure the computer running the tool has the following components installed:

Installation steps

Run the following command in PowerShell :

Install-Module Microsoft.Graph, Microsoft.Graph.Beta, ExchangeOnlineManagement, MicrosoftTeams, Microsoft.Online.SharePoint.PowerShell, PSWriteHTML, ImportExcel, Az -Scope CurrentUser

Installation 

No installation, it's a portable software. All files are on the archive. Unzip content and run tenanttool.exe.

TenantTool.exe can be used on a shared location as Sharepoint sync folder

Informations

The program will create several files in the folder where you launch the application (the application’s root directory).
These files will be .json files containing all the settings and configuration information you add through the tool.

First Use

Before using the tool, go to the Settings section and complete all required information in the main section and its sub-sections.

Information Required

  • Organization Details
    General information about your organization.

  • Client Information
    Details about your Microsoft 365 tenant.

  • Admin Users
    The tenant’s admin accounts. These will be used when onboarding a new tenant.

  • Standard Groups
    Predefined groups to simplify the onboarding process for new tenants.
